Create your own organized pantry with labels on every jar. This easy tutorial will help you to add a personal touch to your pantry, no more ugly boxes: pasta, rice, flour, beans… everything will have its own jar labelled nicely.
- Glasses or plastic jars
- Laser printed paper
- Transparent packing tape
- Hot water
- Hair dryer
Print the names you want on paper using a laser printer.
Attention: this DIY requires a laser printed otherwise you won’t have the waterslide effect. You can also use decal paper but this DIY is made with simple paper and tape, very easy to make it at home.
Cut the paper, one word for every label.
Cover one side of the paper using the transparent packing tape and cut out the tape in excess.
Apply pressure to the front side of the taped label.
Put the label in hot water and wait for about 5 minutes.
After few minutes in the hot water remove gently the paper peeling it away with your fingers.
Once all the white paper is rubbed off lay your sticker down with the sticky side up on a towel and let it dry. You can also use the hair dryer to dry labels very well.
Now you can apply them on the jars. Put them in the exact position and smooth them without any air bubble.
Your pantry is now organized and labeled, you can also add a wooden spoon to the jar, it will be very useful when you’ll need them!
